More than a century since Mabel Emily Watson Raimey became the first African American woman to graduate from the University of Wisconsin and practice law in Wisconsin, Raimey (1895-1986) was honored by the Epsilon Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc® in a private memorial and headstone dedication at Landmark Chapel at Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum (2405 W. Forest Home Ave.).
